The parcel shelf  is still a bit glarey in black, but far less distracting than when it was white! (Maybe a coat of matt black would help...) The plywood cowling covering the rear radiator also got a coat of black - because I wouldn't let Elaine out until it was done ;-) 

The radiator area is now separated from the rear of the boot by an (mostly vertical) sheet of plywood, which still leaves enough space for the essentials. 

Some 1.2mm steel sheet was folded up to make a sort of under tray ducty thing below the rear subframe.

If the airflow through the rad is still insufficient then it could be reversed to scoop in air from under the car.....

The new header tank holds nearly 3 litres, and fits in nicely between the airflow meter and the brace bar. The washer bottle sits outside the bar, behind the horn.
